Cardiff-based potter Jack Welbourne creates this jug in his studio, which is in a courtyard that is home to many makers. He studied pottery in Plymouth and has now been making pieces for 12 years. Hand-thrown from iron-bearing clay, with a celadon ash glaze accented by iron oxide stripes. Each varies slightly in shape, pattern and glaze tone.
